Baking bread
To take your bread out:
1. If the appliance is still in keeping warm mode: Press and hold START/STOP/PAUSE
for a few seconds, to switch the appliance off.
2. Disconnect the plug from the power socket and open the lid.
Only touch the handles, the appliance is hot.
3. Let the appliance cool down a bit before taking the dough container out.
4. Have a wire cooling rack or similar item ready.
5. Take out the baking tin by turning it slightly anticlockwise and then pulling it
upwards to remove. Only handle with oven gloves/mitts or similar. Danger of
burns!
If the dough hook is still stuck in the bread, you can remove it with the tool
provided.
Let the bread cool for about 20 minutes before cutting it.
The best way to slice the bread is to use an electric slicer or a sharp bread knife.
Additional baking
RISK of burns
− The housing becomes very hot during the baking process or may still
be hot from the previous baking process. Burns risk! If you need to
open the lid, only hold it by the handles.
− The dough container also gets very hot or may still be hot from the
previous baking process. Let the whole appliance cool down a bit
before taking the dough container out. Use oven gloves or similar
when you need to hold the dough container or the handle of the
dough container.

6. Using oven gloves, turn the bread pan over,
so that the opening is pointing downwards.
Place the dough container on the previously
prepared wire cooling rack or hold it just
above it.
7. Gently shake the dough container until the
loaf drops out. If necessary, use a plastic or
wooden spatula to gently pull the sides of
the loaf away from the sides of the dough
container. Never use a metal tool as it could
damage the inside of the dough container.
