necessary, therefore, reduce the amount of yeast by a quarter from the usual
quantity.
Pay attention to cleanliness. When adding ingredients, make sure that nothing
gets into the cooking chamber and the heating element does not come into
contact with the dough. If necessary, wipe the outside of the dough container dry
with a clean cloth.
Notes on measuring ingredients
Be precise when measuring ingredients and follow the instructions in the recipe.
It is best to use the measuring cup and measuring spoon provided for measuring
out ingredients.
When you have filled the measuring spoon (small container = 1 tsp, large
container = 1 tbsp), level off the spoonful.
This will avoid addition of too much of any ingredient.
The measuring spoon also has markings on both sides, representing 1/4, 1/2 and
3/4 full levels.
Baking bread
We recommend using a bread recipe provided in this manual for your
first few times (programmes 1 to 7), see section "Recipes". These have
been specifically tested and trialled for this appliance. Look at the
special instructions for the individual programmes.
When using commercially available ready-made bread mixes
subsequently, follow the instructions provided on the packaging.
