Baking bread
The dry yeast must not come into contact with the liquid and the salt.
The appliance can only mix the ingredients properly if they are added
in the correct sequence.
Further operation is controlled using the buttons from left to right. Note the display:
1. Press the MENÜ button multiple times until the required programme number
(e.g. "4" for white bread) appears on the display.
2. Use GEWICHT to select the weight: 500, 750 or 1000 (g).
3. Use FARBE to select the required browning level: HELL (LIGHT), MITTEL (MEDIUM) or
DUNKEL (DARK).
4. Finally, press START/STOP/PAUSE.
The bread maker starts working immediately.

4. Fit the dough hook onto the shaft in the
dough container (can only be fitted on in
one position).
5. Prepare all the ingredients and, if possible,
measure and weigh them as needed.
The total quantity mixed in the dough con-
tainer must not exceed 1,000 g.
6. Place the ingredients in the dough container
in the correct order:
− First liquids, then flour.
− It is best to add sugar and salt at the
edge of the flour.
− Add dry yeast last. To do this, make a
small hollow in the flour.
7. Place the filled dough container in the cook-
ing chamber.
8. Turn the dough container clockwise as far as
it will go. The container should click as it fits
into position.
9. Fold down the handle of the dough
container and close the lid of the bread
maker.
