If it is necessary to stop the unit, reduce the load of the driven equipment if possible.

Group installed, inactive but ready to start: run the group for at least 10 minutes once a month.
Group removed from the system and stored: wash and protect the surfaces from corrosion hazards by applying suitable products.

7.1 CHECKS TO BE CARRIED OUT AT REGULAR INTERVALS
Check that the current absorption remains regular;

Make sure there are no abnormal noises or vibrations;
ü
Check that there are no variations in the performance of the driven equipment;

Check the number of starts per hour;
ü
Check the insulation resistance;
ü
If the motor is equipped with a PT100 probe, check that the temperature remains constant over time.

7.2 PERIODIC ACTIVITIES
7.2.1 CLEANING
Keep the casing and the fan cover constantly clean, paying particular attention to the motor cooling air inlet holes.
The frequency of cleaning activities must be defined according to the environmental conditions of installation and operation.
7.2.2 BEARING LUBRICATION
The type of bearings is indicated in the technical documentation.
Motors with pre-lubricated bearings with permanent grease (up to frame size 200)

After stopping the motor, any anti-condensation devices (optional) must be switched on.
Before carrying out any operation, disconnect the power and make sure it cannot be restored.
