In case the mower is tilted up from any side towards a vertical position, the blade will
stop immediately.
Physical obstruction sensors
The robotic mower detects obstacles in its way during operation. If the mower collides
with an obstacle, the mower will stop movement in that direction and reverse away
from the obstacle.
Optical obstacle sensors
The robot has two ultrasound eyes that allow it to detect mobile obstacles such as pets,
garden chairs or wheelbarrows. These sensors can be switched on optionally (see chap-
ter „Ultrasonic Sensors").
Emergency stop button
Pressing the STOP button will stop the mower and the blade immediately.
Rain sensor
The robotic mower has got a rain sensor and may prevent the robot from mowing in
the rain. In the default factory setting, the robot returns back to the charging station
if rain is detected on board. Then it will be fully charged.
On models equipped with a Bluetooth module, you can change this setting with your
mobile phone.
Mowing in the rain is not r ecommended.
•
Do not short-cut the two metal sensors by metal or another conductor.
This will make the robot work abnormal.
•
The Robotic mower can cut wet grass - but wet grass will accumulate on the blade
disc and wheels, leading you to more frequent cleaning of the unit.
Do not use the robotic mower during lightning to avoid dam-
age to the electronic circuits. We strongly recommend to un-
plug the charging station and to disconnect the boundary wire
If the sensor is not working properly, clean it with a damp cloth and some detergent
from the base station, too.
