Obstacles higher than 100 mm
Fixed obstacles higher than 100 mm,
such as trees, walls, fences, garden
furniture, etc, are recognized by the
crash sensors. Th e robot will stop,
drive backward and then turn around
to cut in another direction .
Soft, unstable and precious obstacles
must be protected by creating a
boundary island around.
Trees
The robotic treats trees as common
obstacles, but if some roots of the
tree are exposed in your garden and
lower than 100 mm, this area should
be protected in order to prevent tree
roots, cutting blades or rear wheels
profile damage.
Respect a distance of min. 30 cm be-
tween the boundary wire & the obsta-
cle.
Stones
If there are rocks or stones situated
within the cutting area, they will ob-
stacle and need to be protected as
the robotic mower could ride upwards
on.
