The optical sensors do not replace the correct layout of the
boundary wire. As described under "Installation", garden ponds
and pools as well as low and sensitive obstacles must be re-
moved from the mowing field by means of loops in the bound-
ary cable.
The ultrasonic sensors are ineffective against obstacles in the
ground, such as pools, ponds and stairs.
The sensors also detect obstacles that are slightly above the robot. These can be over-
hanging hedges or bushes, for example. If this deteriorates the mowing result, turn
off the sensors.
