installation methods for the boundary wire: You might combine both ways of installa-
tion.
Installation on the soil
Attach the boundary wire onto your lawn with pegs, this allows adjustments to the
boundary wire during the first few weeks of operation.
Place the boundary wire firmly onto the soil, under the grass, and fasten it to the
ground with the consigned pegs. Make sure that the mower cannot cut the wire at any
spot.
Installation in the soil
Dig the boundary wire in to a maximal depth of 5 cm if you want to scarify or aerate
the lawn with a separate appliance. This avoids the wire to be destroyed by that appli-
ance. Install the boundary wire with a distance of maximum 1,00 metre between the
pegs.
Dry ground?
Hard or dry ground may cause pegs to break when driving them in. Water the lawn if it
is very dry prior to the wire installation.

Distance boundary wire – gar-
den edge
When the robotic mower approaches
any boundary wire, the sensors which
are installed in front part of the
mower detect it. But before turning
around, the robotic mower overruns
the boundary wire by approximately
30 cm. Respect this when you create
the layout of your boundary.
