Transferring data between your old and new CROSSCALL phone
You can now transfer data to your new CROSSCALL Android device from any other type of
device, Android or iPhone, including apps, photos, contacts, your Google account, and more�
When you turn on your new phone and start to set it up, the option to transfer your data will be
automatically offered to you�
1. Turn on your new device, select the desired language and click Start to begin setting up your
new phone�
2. During the set-up, connect your new phone to a mobile network or WIFI network� It is essential
that both your old and new phone are connected to the internet in order to start the data
transfer�
3. When the "Copy apps and data" window is displayed, click on Next and choose how you want
to import your data to your new phone�
OPTION 1: From a backup on an Android phone
ON YOUR NEW PHONE:
1. Select "A backup from an Android phone".
2. Follow the instructions given on your phone�
3. Click on Next at the end of each step�
ON YOUR OLD PHONE:
1. Open the Google app and enter "Confi gure my device" in the search bar�
2. The "First step" window will be displayed, click on Next.

3. Your old phone then detects your new phone� Check that the shapes displayed on your old
and new devices match and click on Next.
4. The "Copy to new device?" window will be displayed Click on Copy to start the transfer�
ON YOUR NEW PHONE:
1. If you had a Google account on the old phone, you will be asked for the password for that
account� If a cloud backup was made with this Google account, you can choose to restore it
to the new phone�
2. Select the items to restore, from:
• Your apps
• Your contacts
• Your text messages
• Your device settings
• Your call history
• Google Calendar, Google Contacts, Google Photos and Gmail will be automatically
synchronised�
3. Click on Restore. The transfer will begin�
OPTION 2: From a backup on the cloud
ON YOUR OLD PHONE:
1. Back up the data from your old phone�
• Google backup: Go to Settings
> System
• WhatsApp backup: Open the WhatsApp app and go to Settings > Chats > Backup chats >
Backup
ON YOUR NEW PHONE:
1. Select "A backup from a cloud"
2. Follow the instructions given on your phone and enter your Google account information
(email and password)�
3. Click on Next at the end of each step�
4. If multiple cloud backups have been performed with this Google account, you will be able to
choose which one to restore to the new phone�
5. Select the items to restore, from:
• Your apps
• Your contacts
• Your text messages
• Your device settings
• Your call history
• Google Calendar, Google Contacts, Google Photos and Gmail will be automatically
synchronised�
6. Click on Restore to start the transfer�
> Backup > Backup Now.
