Replacing
facial seal
Danger!
Wear, deformation or damage
may impair the protective function
of the facial seal between the
face and visor.
Danger! Hazardous substances
→ Replace facial seal.
Removing facial seal
■ Unhook facial seal

Information!
The facial seal is designed sym-
metrically and can be used on
either side.
For easy alignment, start attach-
ing visor at tip.
■ Hook new facial seal

■ Hook flaps into hooks on hood shell

10.2.
Replacing visor foil
Danger!
Contamination on the visor foil
can significantly impair the field
of vision.
This hinders the ability to recog-
nized hazards.
→ Clean visor foil regularly.
→ Replace visor foil.

■ Pull visor foil
[10-4]
on overlapping flaps
■ Check sealing edge
for contamination, if necessary clean
carefully. Avoid damage.
■ Position new visor foil
press onto visor bolts. Ensure that
visor foil is seated properly.
10.3.
Replacing visor bolts
The visor bolt [11-1] is inserted
into a hole in the visor and fastened
with a spreading device [11-2].
Removing visor bolt
■ Press spreading device out with a 3
mm punch.
■ Remove visor bolt.
Installing new visor bolt
■ Insert new visor bolt.
■ Press spreading pin in from front until
it is flush.
10.4.
Replacing comfort

Fasten comfort head bands [12-1]
for forehead and head straps by
bending in the assembled state.
