16. Maintenance and Repair
of Air Warmer/Cooler
The air warmer/cooler is mainte-
nance-free. Replacement parts are
available for repair work (see Chap.
21).
17. Use of Belt Unit
The belt unit is delivered completely
assembled and ready for use.
After unpacking check whether:
■ Belt unit is damaged.
■ complete delivery of all listed parts
(see Chap. 6.5).
Preparing belt unit for use
Information!
Wear protective suit when adjust-
ing width of belt unit.
■ Adjust width on belt clasp.
■ Put on and buckle belt unit.
■ Check position of padded adapter
plates.
The belt unit is then ready for use.

The belt unit is maintenance-free.
Replacement parts are available for
repair work (see Chap. 21).
19. Service, Care and Stor-
age
The breathing protection equipment
serves to protect your health. Care-
ful handling as well as continuous
service and care of the product
are required to guarantee proper
function.

Notice!
Use of aggressive cleaning
agents can damage the breathing
protection equipment.
→ Do not use aggressive clean-
ing agents. Use the SATA dry and
wet cleaner (Part No. 75358) for
cleaning.
After use clean and disinfect
breathing protection equipment
and check for proper function and
leakage. Clean diffuser block as
required. New equipment and parts
packed air-tight can be stored for
five years.
20. Troubleshooting
The troubleshooting chart below
lists malfunctions, causes and rem-
edies.
If the faults or malfunctions cannot
be eliminated using the remedies
described, send the breathing pro-
tection apparatus in to the SATA
Customer Service Department.
