When taking a break from work
for more than 2.5 hours, or after
work is completed, empty air
humidifier water tank [4-4] to
prevent the buildup of germs and
slime or silt and to avoid water
penetration.
14. Maintenance and Repair
of Air Humidifier
Replacement parts are available for
repair work (see Chap. 21).
14.1. Replacing the humidi-
fier module
Notice!
Risk of damage due to over-
tightened screws
Overtightening screws can cause
damage to the air humidifier.
→ Comply with torque specifica-
tions (1.1 - 1.47 lbf ft (150 - 200
N cm)).
Notice!
Risk of damage due to dirt
contamination
When removing the cover, dirt
particles can enter into the water
tank and damage the air humid-
ifier.
→ Clean the exterior of the air
humidifier before disassembly.
Information!
Replace humidifier module
six months after its initial use
along with the corresponding
SATA filter timer. The activated
SATA filter timer shows the time
remaining.
Removing the humidifier module
■ Unscrew and remove machine
screws with washers [27-6].
■ Lift and remove cover [27-1].
■ Remove humidifier module [27-2]
from water tank [27-5].
■ Slide out SATA filter timer [27-3].
Insert new humidifier module
Information!
The humidifier module is sym-
metrical. It can be installed in any
direction.
■ Ensure that existing O-rings [27-7]
are seated properly on new humid-
ifier module.
■ Insert new humidifier module into
receptacle in water tank.
■ Ensure seal in cover is seated
properly and check it for damage
and dirt. Replace seal if damaged
(see Chap. 14.2).
■ Place cover back on tank.
■ Screw in machine screws with
washers (
torque: 1.1 - 1.47 lbf ft (150 -
)).

■ Slide new SATA filter timer all the
way in.
■ Press on the activation point
