What to do...
Remove power from the charger, then clean
the pocket electrical contacts using a dry cloth.
Try replacing the battery with another IMPRES
2, IMPRES, or other authorized Motorola Sol-
utions Lithium-Ion battery. If the fault no lon-
ger exists, then take the faulted IMPRES 2, IM-
PRES, or other authorized Motorola Solutions
Lithium-Ion battery out of service.
If the fault persists with the replacement IM-
PRES 2, IMPRES, or other authorized Motoro-
la Solutions Lithium-Ion battery, take the charg-
er out of service.
The Potential Capacity of the authentic Motorola
Solutions Lithium-Ion battery may be less than the
Ship Lithium limit. The battery may be nearing End
of Life.
The charger pocket is not the standard pocket for
charging a battery (through electrical contacts be-
tween the charger and the battery).
A Radio Pocket is a special pocket in which the
battery is attached to a radio, there are no ex-
ternal contacts on the battery, and the battery
is charged through electrical contacts on the
radio.
A Charging Pocket is a pocket that uses charg-
er energy for a special purpose, such as USB
charging ports.
Move the battery to a standard pocket or replace
the Radio Pocket or Charging Pocket with a stand-
ard pocket.
