 Do not let the appliance come into contact with water or oth-
er liquids. Keep the appliance, the mains cable and the mains
plug away from wash basins, sinks and similar.
 Do not place any objects filled with liquid (e.g. vases or drinks)
on or near the appliance.
 Never touch the appliance or the mains cable with wet hands.
 Metal plates and other (electrical) objects must not be insert-
ed into the appliance or the ventilation slots to prevent short
circuits and fire.
 Use the appliance indoors only.
WARNING!
Risk of injury due to improper use!
Improper handling can result in damage to your ap-
pliance and your health. Please follow the safety advice below
closely:
 Do not reach into the ice-cream maker whilst it is running.
 Keep hair, clothing and other objects away from the appli-
ance.
 WARNING! Do not close the ventilation openings on the appli-
ance housing or installation housing.
 Keep the appliance at least 8 cm away from other objects or
walls in all directions to ensure proper ventilation.
 Do not touch the frozen aluminium container with wet hands.
 Do not store any explosive materials, for example aerosol
containers containing flammable propellant gas, in or in the
vicinity of the appliance.
 Do not use the appliance close to flames, hotplates or ovens.
 WARNING! Ensure the mains cable does not become a trip-
ping hazard – do not use an extension cable.
 There are two copper contacts on the motor block. Water
between the copper contacts of the motor block and the
copper plates in the cooling chamber leads to power failure
of the motor block. Keep the copper contacts and copper
