If the appliance is switched off after ice cream mode or cooling only
mode, the protective function of the compressor is activated. Ice cream
mode or mixing only mode can only be activated again after a waiting
time of approx. 3 minutes.
However, if you remove the mains plug from the socket after the process
ends, the appliance restarts. There is no delay when selecting ice cream
mode or cooling only mode again.

Using the appliance in a way that was not intended
may damage it.
Do not store finished ice cream in the aluminium
container under any circumstances. Use a suitable
deep freeze container.
When removing the ice cream, do not scratch/bang
against the surfaces of the aluminium container to
avoid damaging the material.
Only switch on the appliance if the aluminium con-
tainer, stirrer and lid are properly inserted/mounted.
Do not place frozen ingredients in the aluminium
container. The temperature when starting to make
ice cream is approx. 23±2°C. Frozen ingredients
would firm up the ice cream prematurely, which can
jam the motor block. This switches off the motor au-
tomatically and ice cream preparation is ended.
The appliance is driven by an electric motor. This can lead to a slight
smell during initial operation. This smell is normal and is not a sign of a
malfunctioning appliance.
Ensure adequate ventilation.

Put the prepared ingredients into the aluminium container. Use the supplied
measuring cup for measuring out the ingredients (see Fig. 3).
