AQUA SALT
Salt chlorine generator
There are other operating modes related to system's restart, first installation or maintenance:
Superchlorination (boost): When this work mode is on, the generator stops its internal
adjustments and starts working at 100% for a total programmable time of up to 24 hours. At the
end of superchlorination, the generator goes back to the set work mode. We suggest to wait up to
15 minutes between two consecutive boosts.
Mixing: this programme activates the recirculation pump for a programmable lapse of time. During
this time, chlorine generation is deactivated, to allow the water to flow through the system.
Start-up: this programme makes the electrolytic cell work continuously for a programmable lapse
of time, from 1 to 99 days, until reaching water stabilization. This mode automatically sets a two-
hour polarisation time. At the end of the start-up phase, the generator will start working following
the chosen settings.
Backwash: this programme runs a step-by-step procedure to wash the sand filter. During this
phase, chlorine generation is disabled. At the end of the process, the generator will switch back to
the programmed settings
Salinity control: This system estimates the salt level of water every time chlorine generation is
enabled. The value depends on current intensity, and it is reliable only if the electrodes are clean.
Depending on the calculated value, the system can run several operation
Automatic brine dosing
It is possible to increase salt concentration with the help of an external pump that automatically
doses brine depending on the estimated salinity result.
Saturation Index (SI) calculation
The SI keeps pool water balance under control, so it does not become corrosive or fouling but is
always correctly balanced (SI values between -0.2 and +0.2). The SI index can be calculated with
the management software, by manually adding pH, temperature, hardness and alkalinity values, or
by using the values read by pH and temperature probes.
Programmable recirculation timers
The system has 12 timers programmable from 0 to 24 hours, that can be disabled one by one or in
group, which regulate the recirculation pump activation and enable the chlorine generator
operation.
Estimated chlorine generation
The system provides an estimate of the generated chlorine that includes the ratio between salinity
concentration, current efficiency and temperature.
Temperature and UV correction for chlorine generation
The higher the temperature, the higher the amount of chlorine necessary in the pool. The system
allows you to regulate chlorine production by correcting the performance of the generator,
depending on temperature value and UV rays of the climatic zone. This is possible when External
or Internal Timers modes are on.
Depending on the additional operating modes and accessories it is equipped with, there are 4 main models
