Be it crispy pizza or fresh bread, with the baking
stone you arrive at baking results that are
comparable to those of a solid stone oven, and
which even surpass the stone oven because you
can control the baking temperature exactly.
Proceed as follows:
– Remove the cover from the socket on the rear of
the oven (some oven models only) (Fig. 1).
– Then plug the heating element into the
appropriate socket in the rear panel of the oven
(Fig. 2). (For PS 026/027 the heating element
HZ 026 must be ordered separately.)
– Place the baking stone on the included gridiron
(Fig. 3) and push the gridiron and the baking
stone over the heating element into the oven at
the lowest shelf position (Fig. 4).

Important: Never place the baking stone directly
on the heating element.
– Turn the "Modes" control knob to the Baking
Stone position (
Turn the "Temperature" control knob to the
temperature you require.
– Preheat the oven to the temperature stated in the
recipe until the heating up symbol goes off. The
baking stone is heated by the inserted heating
element. Leave the chosen temperature level set
during the baking time.
Applies to series 200 ovens only: During baking
stone operation the oven will continue to heat for
a short while when the door is opened.
– You can use the included wooden pusher to insert
the food you want to bake. Place the food directly
on the baking stone, do not place any baking
forms on the baking stone.
