LPG tank must be secured to the truck; the
mountings must not be affected by vibrations.
LPG tank, hoses and pipes must never protrude
from the truck profile.
In the event of prolonged halts, during overnight
parking or before replacement operations, close
the main valve on the LPG tank.
Always refuel in the designated area. Check
that the supplier is equipped with proper
connections to ensure a secure supply.
Always exchange tanks when refueling with
LPG.
When exchanging LPG tanks, always visually
check the connections for damage or other
abnormalities. Be careful so that the LPG hose
will not be caught by the tank or bracket. If a
gas leak occurs, do not start the engine and
request repairs immediately.
When the LPG tank needs refilling, ask the LPG
station attendant to fill the tank. Never attempt
to fill the tank yourself. This is extremely
dangerous.
6.3 Anti-freeze (IC truck)
Adding Anti-freeze
If the truck is left in an area where the
temperature is less than 0°C(32°F), the cooling
water will freeze and may damage the radiator
and/or cylinder block. In such cases, antifreeze
coolant must be used. When long-life coolant
(LLC) is used, it must be changed once every
two years. The freezing temperature varies
depending on the amount of antifreeze added.

&.WARNING
The antifreeze fluid is flammable, so no smoking
and avoid open flame. To avoid burns, only
open cap when engine is cold.
The procedures for adding antifreeze is as
follows:
(1) Prior to adding antifreeze, inspect the radi-
ator, water pump, piping and cylinder block
for leaks.
(2) Remove the radiator cap. Loosen the drain
cock on the radiator and cylinder block and
drain the cooling water.
(3) Flush out the radiator and cylinder block by
adding clean water through the radiator in-
let.
(4) After the water has drained out of the radi-
ator and cylinder block, tighten the radiator
and engine drain cocks.
(5) Add the proper amount of antifreeze to the
radiator inlet and fill up the remaining space
with clean water.
