Vital Signs Print Format
The following illustration is an example of the Vital Signs print format. This format is used with the Vital
Signs Print option, the Print Upon Alarm option, or when you print vital signs for the current patient.
This format includes the following information:
•
The patient's name and ID number
•
The current date and time
•
Vital signs measurements, plus the following information:
– Any value that violates alarm limits is displayed within a box.
– If a "?" appears next to the NIBP cuff reading or SpO
motion), it will also appear next to the corresponding reading on the printout.
– If the NIBP mode is set to Neonatal, an "N" appears next to the SYS value.
•
An oscillometric profile indicates possible problems with the accuracy of the measurement. A normal
oscillometric profile is a bell-shaped curve. An abnormal profile is usually caused by patient
movement, as seen in the following illustration.
Line List Print Format
Following is an example of the Line List print format. This format is used when you print all vital signs
records for a specific patient or you choose to print all records in memory.
The Line List printout contains multiple patient records. It contains the same information as the Vital Signs
printout, except that it does not include an oscillometric profile.
