The VS1 alarms can be configured to alert you when a measured value exceeds specified high and low
limits. This chapter describes how to set the alarm limits.

Alarm Controls

Alarm Silence Button
• Alarm Silence Button: Used to silence an audible alarm for two minutes and activate the alarm
indicator LED. If, after two minutes, a measurement is still outside acceptable limits, the alarm will
reactivate. To silence all alarms for two minutes (whether sounding or not), push and hold the Alarm
Silence button for three seconds.
• Alarm Indicator LED: Indicates the current status of the alarm function. No light indicates no
alarms, a slow flashing light indicates that an alarm has sounded and has been silenced, and a fast
flashing light indicates that all alarms have been silenced.
