In the case of materials acquired from external suppliers, ME.BER. provides the buyer with the same guarantee that the supplier gives
ME.BER.

1.4.2. DURATION OF THE GUARANTEE

The guarantee is valid for 12 months, and comes into effect 30 days after the date of delivery; this period is unique and is not subject to
extension following any replacement or repair carried out in this period..

1.4.3. APPLICATION PROCEDURE

To establish the causes of any problems, and whether the guarantee may apply, it is necessary to send the defective components to
ME.BER. The work of repair or replacement under the guarantee will be, according to the decision of ME.BER., carried out in its own
workshop, in a service centre authorised by it, by third parties, or on site. In the case of work carried out on site, the client is
responsible for energy sources, special equipment and auxiliary personnel.

1.4.4. DELIVERY OF MATERIAL

Before dispatching the items the replacement or repair of which under guarantee is requested, it is necessary to obtain the written
approval of the ME.BER. Service Department.
The defective components must be correctly packed to avoid damage during transport, delivered free to our premises and
accompanied by:
data taken from the name plate (§ 2.1);
code number and position of the component taken from the list of replacement parts (§ 7.3);
accurate description of the defect and the way in which it was established.
The components supplied under guarantee are delivered free on board; those replaced remain the property of ME.BER.

1.4.5. EXCLUSIONS

Materials and components subject to normal wear and tear are excluded from the guarantee, as are those of which it is impossible to
establish the duration.
WARNING: the removal of the identity label entails the immediate lapse of any form of guarantee.

2. CHARACTERISTICS OF THE STRETCHER AND TECHNICAL DATA

2.1. IDENTIFICATION OF THE STRETCHER

The self-loading stretcher is identified by an adhesive label attached to the piston-retaining pipe of the rear leg. The label displays in an
indelible form the data relating to the marking CE.
The label must never be removed. If it is damaged a duplicate should be requested. In addition to the lapse of
the guarantee, ME.BER. does not recognize a stretcher without a label.
