Aligning the solar panels

If your site is located in the northern hemisphere, face the solar panels true south (see
Figure 3-3). Similarly, if your site is located in the southern hemisphere, face the solar
panels true north.

Tilt angle of solar panels

Once the solar panels have been attached to the mounting, you will need to adjust the "tilt
angle" of the panels to obtain optimum performance. The tilt angle varies according to the
latitude at the location of your solar system. Therefore, please determine the latitude of your
solar system location before setting the tilt angle. Use the diagram below to determine the
appropriate tilt angle.
