Even at low voltages electrical parts can pose a danger.
• For your safety, ensure that the installation, maintenance, and repair of the system is
only carried out by qualified personnel in strict accordance with the applicable
regulations governing health, safety, building technology, and electrical engineering.
NOTE: Damage to the solar system during installation
• Due to the high value and weight of the solar panel and control cabinet, the solar
system should always be installed by two people.
4.1

General

This section provides the information necessary to install the RAD-SOL-SET-24-... solar
system from Phoenix Contact.. Before installing the system, you should familiarize yourself
with the relevant components (see Section 1, "Introduction") and the requirements for the
alignment of solar panels (see Section 3, "Location").
When installing the solar system, please proceed in the following order (see Section 4.2 to
Section 4.16):
– Install mounting pole
– Install control cabinet
– Ground solar system
– Remove fuses
– Install surge protector
– Install radio module and antenna adapter
– Install solar panels
– Ground solar panels
– Wire control cabinet
– Wire solar panel junction boxes
– Install antenna
– Attach solar cable to mounting pole
– Install batteries
– Check system
– Install additional radio modules/extension modules (optional)
– Insert fuses
