Check the following during annual inspection:
1 The general appearance of the solar system.
2 All mechanical and electrical connections to ensure that they are fixed securely
and/or not damaged.
3 The solar module.
4 The batteries.
6.1 Solar module
Check the following during annual inspection:
1 The glass surface of the solar module for damage.
2 All mechanical and electrical connections to ensure that they are fixed securely
and/or not damaged.
3 The glass surface of the solar module for soiling.
Prolonged shading reduces the efficiency of the solar module and leads to a
reduction in performance.
If necessary, still clean the glass surface of the solar module with a soft cloth, water
and standard commercial glass cleaner.
Operation of a damaged solar module is not permitted.
6.2 Batteries
Check the following during annual inspection:
1 The battery in the wiring space of the control cabinet for damage.
2 All mechanical and electrical connections to ensure they are secure.
3 The plastic housing of the battery for soiling.
To prevent creepage currents, the battery must be kept clean and dry at all times.
Should any dirt be present, clean the plastic housing of the battery with water only.
4 The battery poles for corrosion.
Lightly grease the poles to provide protection against corrosion.
Operation of the solar system with a damaged battery is not permitted.
