supplied as standard with the solar system. The solar cable is assembled individually by
the person setting up the system.
Installation instructions are supplied as standard with the solar panel. Familiarize yourself
with the instructions before installing the solar panel.
WARNING: Danger of cutting and crushing
Please note there is a danger of hands being cut or crushed when installing and aligning
the solar panel.
•
To prevent injury, wear protective gloves.
1.
Refer to Section 3, "Location" and calculate the solar panel orientation and tilt angle for
your geographical area.
2.
Determine the height at which the solar panels will be installed on the pole (see
Figure 4-2 on page 4-6).
To achieve the proper solar panel orientation, the solar panel bracket assembly will have
to be rotated and repositioned after installation. Therefore, pole bracket clamps and solar
panel bracket bolts should only be loosely tightened until the bracket is secured and
aligned correctly.
NOTE: Avoid damage to the solar panel
•
Ensure that the installation/removal of the system is only carried out by qualified
personnel in strict accordance with the applicable regulations governing health,
safety, building technology, and electrical engineering.
•
Do not stand on the solar panel.
•
Avoid mechanical strain when installing the system.
•
Do not attempt to increase module performance by intensifying the light
concentration on the solar panel surface.
