8.1 General
The SunSaver charge controller is a fully automated controller for photovoltaic systems. It
provides electronic protective functions for the controller and the solar panels. The batteries
are charged using an algorithm for pulse width modulation with constant voltage, which has
been optimized for photovoltaic systems.

Key:
1 Green "CHARGING" LED (charging the batteries)
2 Red "LOAD DISCONNECT" LED (load disconnection due to insufficient battery
voltage)
3 Terminal connections [3] and [4] for the solar panels
4 Terminal block connections [1] and [2] for the battery
5 Terminal block connections [5] and [6] for the loads
6 Terminal block jumper for setting the battery type (sealed battery or flooded battery)
NOTE: Damage to the batteries by removing the terminal block jumper
The solar system is supplied with two batteries (sealed battery).
To set the battery type when using this battery, the terminal block jumper [6] that is already
inserted must be left in the charge controller!
