2. Adjust the width of the gate with the adjust-
ment handle rep. 5 fig. 16 so that the axis of
the bolt rep. 4 is centred on the axis of the
vertical tube of the barrier. After adjusting
the width, the securing clamp must be firmly
tightened by rotating the handle rep. 5 fig. 16
with one hand and holding the butterfly nut
rep. 1 fig. 16 with the other hand.
DANGER: The gate stop rep.3 fig.16
must be installed on the secured side of
the area delimited by the guardrail. The
gate should open towards the safe area.
3. After installing the gate, place 4 counter-
weights per double bracket. A counterweight
interface should be placed between every
upper and lower counterweight (fig. 20)

7.3.4. Adjustable guardrail

Installation is identical to that of the barrier in
section 7.3.1.
After installation, the pin (rep. 1 fig. 2) must be
inserted to ensure stability between the 2 half
barriers.
IMPORTANT: After inserting the pin, the
ball of the pin should be visible (rep. 2
fig. 2).
7.4. Installation of the guard trac™ plus
guardrail
Proceed according to steps 1 and 2 of section
7.3.

7.4.1. Barrier

1. Installation is identical to that of the barrier
in section 7.3.1 with the slight difference that
the guard trac™ plus has a central upright.
During installation, the end of the central
upright will be inserted into a single bracket
(fig.15 position c).
IMPORTANT: The washer welded to the
foot of the central upright must be in con-
tact against the tube of the single bracket
(detail A fig.15).
2. The single bracket is ballasted with two
stacked counterweights. A counterweight
interface should be placed between every
upper and lower counterweight (fig. 20)
3. The barriers are connected by inter-barrier
links (rep 2 fig. 15) at a height in relation to the
installation surface of H= 870 mm (fig. 15.1).
After setting the clamp in place, it should be
firmly tightened onto the 2 uprights of the bar-
rier by hand, using a 22 mm spanner.
NOTE: The assembly of the barriers
adapts to the shape of the area to be
cordoned off thanks to the gearwheel system of
the barriers and the latch. The permissible an-
gles are shown in the table below (fig. 21):
