Important

- Alert the beginning of each actuation movement by acoustic warning signal.
- When the silage ingredients are inserted, they must enter when the thread blades are rotating.
- The loading sequence depends exclusively on the final product you wish to obtain.
Normally, the starchy ingredients are inserted first, after the dry or longer ones, such as hay and straw,
corn silage, and then the heavier (see the item on "Good standards for correct usage of a mixer
wagon").
- Let the machine operate until the driveshaft reaches 540 rpm, until the longer fiber is partially cut.
- Continue mixing operating the driveshaft at a speed of 540 rpm.
- Move the chassis of the milling machine up and down the terrain slowly, as to avoid the intervention of
the safety valves, which can block the cylinders in the case of a sudden movement or due to a low
temperature environment. If the downward movement of the hydraulic cylinder blocks, due to low
rotation speed, raise the cylinders again and repeat the operation of the downward movement more
gently.
In a low temperature environment, wait for the hydraulic oil temperature to reach a temperature of
about 30°C.
NOTE: Before restarting the operation, wait for the hydraulic oil temperature to reach 30°C.
In case the oil temperature does not reach this temperature, replace the oil with lower
viscosity hydraulic oil (as recommended in the following pages).

Good Standard Procedures for Correct Wagon Utilization

There are several factors in order to obtain good animal feed, such as (the quality of the milling
machine, correct choice of the wagon, the efficiency of the operator, correct execution of the operating
phases); it is practically impossible to provide an exact procedure to be followed word for word to
achieve optimal results.
The same type of raw material, stored or produced in different geographic locations, but in different
manners, can display characteristics that require different processing treatment. Let`s consider,
therefore, the most correct considerations related to several phases of the work and the behavior of
some materials after being inserted in the mixer bin, instead of recommending a standard operating
procedure to be followed.
Let`s begin by supposing the following recommendations will procedure good results in the majority of
cases, and we will consider the feasibility of some factors to impact the final result:
- Bad quality of the raw materials from the harvest and/or improper storage.
- Low efficiency of the machine due to incorrect maintenance.
- Carelessness of incompetence of the operators.
The mixer wagon is only an instrument, therefore, the operator must know and realize, the benefit he
wishes to obtain from the characteristics of the machine is based on several of the materials used.
The following recommendations below are stepping stones to achieves this purpose and must be
abided by or adapted based on each specific case.
