Possible cause
Main cut off switch off
Emergency stop activated
Power supply cut
Electrical limit switch activated

Fuse inoperative
Contacts on transformer or pendant

The motor after heavy use is too
hot and the thermal cut out is
triggered

Actions
Set it to "on" position
Deactivate the emergency stop
Check all the electrical connections
Move the chain using the button
box in the opposite direction.
Call in an approved engineer
Change the fuse and check the
electrical connections

Secure the area under the load and
wait for the hoist to cool
