• Make a cut by moving the head (3) slowly and at uniform rate while
holding the handle (2) with your hand.
• Press the button "O" of the switch (18) to switch the tile saw off.
Always move the saw head far enough to complete the cut. Switch
the saw off and wait until cutting blade comes to a complete stop,
only then you can remove cut off pieces.
CUTTING TO DEFINED WIDTH
When cutting lengthwise always use the mitre gauge as
longitudinal fence and adjust it to appropriate dimension of
lengthwise cut.
LASER OPERATION
Laser beam allows for better control to set line of cut.
Laser generator that the saw is equipped with is used for precise
cutting.
• Press the laser switch button (24).
• Laser generator starts to emit red line, which will be visible on the
material.
• Set the cutting point of the material accordingly to emitted line
and make a cut.
• Switch the laser off when cutting is finished.
Dust and dirt arising when making cuts may dim the laser beam,
therefore it is necessary to clean the generator from time to time.
Never look directly at the source of the laser beam, never point
the laser beam at any person.
MITRE CUTTING
• Choose and set up cutting angle on the mitre gauge (10).
• Put ceramic tile and press it against the fence (7) and the base of
the mitre gauge (10) (fig. K).
• Make a cut as described above.
BEVEL CUTTING
• Loosen the bevel locking knobs (4) located on both sides of the
work table (11).
• Tilt the head to desired angle (you can read the adjusted angle
on the scale) (fig. L).
• Tighten the bevel locking knobs (4).
• Make a cut as described above.
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
Unplug the power cord from the mains socket before commencing
any activities related to installation, adjustment, repair or
maintenance.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
• When the work is finished, carefully remove all pieces of material
and dust from the work table, area around cutting blade and its
shields.
• Cloth or brush are best for cleaning the tile saw.
• Do not clean the saw with chemical cleaning agents.
• Pull out the drain plug and drain the water from the base to
appropriate container (fig. P).
• Regularly clean the base and the water pump.
• Keep ventilation holes of the motor unobstructed.
• Regularly check that all bolts and fixing screws are tightened.
During operation they may get loosened after some time.
• Store the saw in a dry place, beyond reach of children.
• Entrust replacement of power cord and other repairs only to
authorized service workshop.
CUTTING BLADE REPLACEMENT
• Install the transport screw (16) and tighten the head locking screw
(15).
• Unscrew the fixing screws to disassemble the cutting blade shield
(13).
• Use the special keys (included) to unscrew the nut for cutting
blade (12) fixing (fig. M).
Important! Unscrew the nut in direction of the cutting blade
rotation (left-hand thread).
• Remove outer collar washer.
• Take the cutting blade (12) off the spindle shaft.
• Position new cutting blade so arrow on the blade matches
direction of the arrow on the cutting blade shield (13).
• Clean surfaces of the spindle shaft and collar washers.
• Install new cutting blade (proceed with dismantle procedure in
reverse sequence) and tighten the nut for cutting blade fixing.
• Use screws to install the cutting blade shield (13).
• Turn the cutting blade with your hand to make sure it is free to
rotate.
• Plug the saw to mains socket, allow the saw to work at full
rotational speed for a few minutes.
Be careful to keep correct rotation direction of the cutting blade.
Arrow on the saw body shows direction of the tool spindle
rotation.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT IN LASER UNIT
Laser unit is powered with two AAA batteries, 1.5 V.
• Disassemble the laser (14) from the cutting blade shield (13).
• Remove battery compartment (25) lid (fig. N).
• Remove empty batteries.
• Insert new batteries. Observe correct polarity.
• Install the battery compartment (25) lid and attach the laser to the
cutting blade shield.
All faults should be repaired by service workshop authorized by the
manufacturer.
