Balancing the Brushcutter

: Attach the spring hook (1) to the
clamp (2) on the drive tube.
: Loosen the screw (3).
:
Slide the clamp up or down the drive
tube as necessary.
:
Tighten the screw moderately.
:
Let go of the brushcutter and check
to see how it is balanced.

A Cutting tools
Mowing heads, grass cutting blades
and brush knife should just touch
the ground.
B Circular saw blades
should "hover" about 8" (20 cm)
above the ground.
:
Tighten the screw (3) firmly.
Disconnecting brushcutter from
harness
:
Press down bar on spring hook (1).
: Pull clamp (2) out of the spring
hook.
