Do not overtighten the chain as this
could cause premature wear of the
chain and the sprockets.
Proceed as outlined below.
1) Unscrew the nuts (A).
2) Remove the casing (B).
3) Loosen the nut (C).
4) Move the tensioner to tension the

Adjusting the brake
Adjust the brake so that friction is ex-
erted that can ensure uniform dispenser
rotation.
An overtight brake would cause prema-
ture pad wear.
Proceed as outlined below.
1) Loosen the screws (A).
2) Move the brake support as shown in
the illustration.
3) Tighten the screws (A).
Adjusting the cup opening stage timing
Depending on the type of seedlings and on the rotation
speed, when the seedlings go down the dispenser they
may knock the side of the opening of the drop pipe and
fall in way which is not perpendicular.
The cam (A) adjusts the opening to the cup so that the
seedling is in the centre of the drop pipe (C).
The cam (B) adjusts the opening to the cup so that the
seedling is in the centre of the drop pipe (D).
NOTICE
Do not change the height of the cams set by the man-
ufacturer during testing.
