Safety advice concerning use
This ensures the machine can only be used by fit and
healthy personnel, who are suitably trained and au-
thorised, and hold the appropriate category driving
licence for a tractor.
Make sure there are no persons (including children)
or animals in the machine work and manoeuvring
area.
It is up to the tractor driver to establish whether the
environmental conditions of the work area are haz-
ardous and to work safely.

Description of the controls
A) Knob: this is used to adjust the planting depth (see
page 13).
B) Knob: this adjusts the spacing between the packing
wheels and the ploughshare (see page 11).
C) Handwheel: this adjusts the weight on the packing
wheels (see page 16).

Keep the parts where operators tread clean to pre-
vent loss of balance when getting on and off the
work vehicle.
Before transiting on public roads, check that the trac-
tor/work vehicle assembly complies with highway
code regulations.
Check, during planting, that the tractor exhaust gas
is not emitted in the direction of the work vehicle's
operators.
D) Handwheel: this is used to fine-tune the load ap-
plied by the handwheel (C) to the wheels (see page
16).
E) Handwheel: this is used to adjust the load applied
by the small wheel to the ground (see page 14).
F) Lever: this is used to adjust the set up of the
dispenser(s) so that the seedlings are planted in the
ground upright.
