• To avoid hazards, if the electrical socket is not compatible with the
plug, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, a service agent or an
equivalently qualified person.
• The power cord of the refrigerator is equipped with a special grounding
plug. This plug must be used with a specially grounded 16 ampere
grounded outlet. If your home does not have such an outlet, have an
approved electrician install one.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with this
appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance of this appliance shall not be
made by children without supervision.
• Children aged 3-8 years are not allowed to load or unload refrigeration
appliances. Children are NOT expected to carry out cleaning or
maintenance of the appliance, very young children (0-3 years) are not
expected to use the appliances, young children (3-8 years) are not
expected to use the appliances safely unless continuously supervised,
older children (8-14 years) and vulnerable persons can use the
appliances safely after they have been given appropriate supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance. Very vulnerable persons
are not expected to use appliances safely unless they are continuously
supervised.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, an authorised service agent or a person with equivalent
qualifications in order to avoid hazards.
