INSTALLATION WARNINGS
Before using the fridge-freezer for
the first time, please pay attention to
the following points:
The operating voltage of the fridge-
freezer is 220-240 V at 50Hz.
• The socket must remain
accessible after installation.
• The fridge-freezer may emit some
odour when it is used for the first
time. This smell is normal and will
disappear when the fridge-freezer
starts to cool down.
• Before switching on the
refrigerator
If you are in doubt, contact a
qualified electrician to check that
the information shown on the
rating plate (voltage and
connected load) matches the
characteristics of the power
supply. If in doubt, contact a
qualified electrician.
• Insert the plug into an outlet that
is effectively grounded. If the
electrical outlet is not grounded or
the plug is not compatible with the
outlet, we recommend that you
contact a qualified electrician.
• We are not liable for damage
caused by connecting the device
without grounding.
• Do not place the refrigerator-
freezer in a place where it is
exposed to direct sunlight.
Warnings for the installation
• The appliance must be connected
to a properly installed fused
electrical outlet. The power supply
(AC) and voltage of the place
where the appliance is to be used
must not exceed the voltage of the
place where the appliance is to be
installed.
The data shown on the rating plate
on the inside left-hand side of the
appliance must correspond to the
data shown on the rating plate of
the appliance.
• The fridge-freezer must never
be used outdoors or in a place
where it is exposed to rain.
• The appliance must be at least 50
cm away from cookers, gas ovens
and radiators and 5 cm away from
electric ovens. (See next page).
• If you place the fridge-freezer next
to a low-temperature freezer, it
must be at least 2 cm away from
the freezer to prevent moisture
from forming on the outside surface
(see next page).
• Do not cover the body or the top of
