Move the cursor to "PEAK/AVE" and use the [e] or [f] button to adjust the detection level.
When the value is moved in the "0" direction, the peak value (maximum value) will be detected. When the value is moved in the
"8" direction, the average value will detected.

The white balance adjustment method is selectable from the following:
AWC (default) : White balance control mode is set. It is suitable for a location where a light source is stable.
When "AWC" is selected, the operation to adjust the white balance is required.
MANUAL
: White balance can be manually adjusted.

When "AWC" is selected, follow the steps below to adjust the white balance.
Step 1
Aim the camera at a white subject. Take an image of the
white subject under the light source to be used.
Note:
• Adjustment is available for each profile. (☞ Page 30)
• If the lamp is kept on after "AWC NG" is displayed or the lamp lights up after the profile is changed, retry step 1 and 2.
• If AWC is performed while the setting of "R-GAIN" or "B-GAIN" of "MANUAL" is set to other than the default (128), the white
balance may not be set properly.
When "MANUAL" is selected, move the cursor to "R-GAIN" or "B-GAIN" and adjust the white balance with the [e] or [f] but-
ton.

Step 2
Press the [AWC] button in the previous screen.
→ AWC will be started up, and the AWC status lamp
blinks. The adjustment is complete when "AWC OK" is
displayed and the lamp goes off.
