5. Plug the LithoVue™ Flexscope Cable into the Workstation Receptacle on the front panel of the
System Workstation by lining up the triangle on the Connector Cable's Plug with the triangle on
the front panel of the System Workstation.
notE: The LithoVue Flexscope may be plugged in before the System Workstation has been
powered on. In this case, the system will proceed directly to scope initialization and then
display of the preliminary live image.
cAUtIon: the Flexscope cable should connect to the Workstation receptacle easily If the
connector cable's Plug does not connect, verify that the arrows on the Plug and Workstation
receptacle line up Forcing the connector cable's Plug into the cable receptacle may
damage the System Workstation
6. Once the LithoVue Flexscope is connected, the System Workstation will display the Flexscope
Initialization screen (See Figure 5.3). After the LithoVue Flexscope has completed the initialization
process, the System Workstation displays a preliminary image. A white progress bar, located at
the bottom of the display screen, indicates the System Workstation is downloading calibration
information from the LithoVue Flexscope (see Figure 5.4). The image will not be final until the
LithoVue Flexscope has finished calibration.
