cAUtIon: the touch Pc cart Post operates by pneumatic pressure and will travel upward
when disengaged� Ensure that nothing obstructs upward travel before turning the Height
Adjustment Knob� Grasp the touch Pc using the side handholds to control the upward travel
of the touch Pc when the Height Adjustment Knob is loosened�
4. Press the power button on the front panel to power on the System Workstation. Verify the System
Workstation powers up appropriately prior to proceeding with the procedure.
5. If desired, press the "Controls Swap" button to change the orientation of the on-screen controls,
such that they are more accessible to the user.
6. Remove the LithoVue™ Flexscope from its packaging. Prepare and inspect the LithoVue Flexscope
as described in the LithoVue Single-Use Digital Flexible Ureteroscope Directions for Use.
7. Insert the Connector Cable plug into the Workstation Receptacle on the front panel of the System
Workstation by lining up the triangle on the Connector Cable's Plug with that on the front panel of
the System Workstation.
notE: the LithoVue Flexscope may be plugged in before the System Workstation has been
powered on. In this case, the LithoVue Flexscope disconnected message screen will not display.
cAUtIon: the Flexscope cable should connect to the Workstation receptacle easily� If the
connector cable's Plug does not connect, verify that the arrows on the Plug and Workstation
receptacle line up� Forcing the connector cable's Plug into the cable receptacle may
damage the System Workstation�
8. Confirm that the LithoVue Flexscope is functioning properly by following the "Inspection and
Operational Checks" instructions in the LithoVue Single-Use Digital Flexible Ureteroscope
Directions for Use.
9. Confirm the quality and real-time appearance of the video image. If desired, press the "Light On/Off"
button to turn the LithoVue Flexscope light on and off, as needed. If the LithoVue Flexscope is not to
be used immediately for a procedure, it is recommended that the light be turned off until needed.
10. If desired, connect an irrigation/contrast source to the LithoVue Flexscope, as described in the
LithoVue Single-Use Digital Flexible Ureteroscope Directions for Use.
11. Introduce the LithoVue Flexscope to target site, as described in the LithoVue Single-Use Digital
Flexible Ureteroscope Directions for Use, using imaging, as needed, to confirm position.
12. Press the "Light On/Off" button to turn the Lithovue Flexscope light on or off and use the "Image
Brightness" control buttons to adjust brightness, as needed, throughout the procedure.
13. Use the LithoVue Flexscope's Articulation Lever to deflect the distal tip as needed to facilitate
diagnosis and therapy. See the LithoVue Single-Use Digital Flexible Ureteroscope Directions for
Use for more information on articulating the distal tip.

14. Use the LithoVue Flexscope's working channel to deliver accessories to complete the diagnosis
and therapy. See the LithoVue Single-Use Digital Flexible Ureteroscope Directions for Use for more
information on using accessories.
15. Remove the LithoVue Flexscope from the patient, as described in the LithoVue Single-Use Digital
Flexible Ureteroscope Directions for Use..
16. Unplug the LithoVue Flexscope from the System Workstation by sliding the locking collar on the
connector cable plug toward the cable and pull the plug out to remove the cable.
