Possible cause
Boot problem.
Illumination light off.
Illumination is too low.
Debris covering the distal tip
of the LithoVue Flexscope.

of the LithoVue Flexscope.
The external video monitor or
DVI switcher is not compatible
or not setup properly with the
LithoVue DVI output signal
corrective Action
Shut down the System Workstation by
pressing and holding the Power Button.
Press the Power Button to restart the System
Workstation. If problem reoccurs, contact
Boston Scientific using the information found
in Section 8 "Service and Warranty".
Press the Light On/Off button to turn
illumination on.
Adjust brightness using brightness control
buttons. If brightness setting changes
do not correct the problem, replace the
LithoVue™ Flexscope.
Clean the distal tip by wiping it with 15 to 70
percent alcohol in purified water solution
using a cotton swab.
Adjust brightness using brightness
control buttons.
Ensure the System Workstation's location
meets the Electromagnetic Compatibility
Requirements discussed in Section 9
"Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)
Requirements".
Shutdown other medical electrical
equipment to determine which equipment
is causing the symptom. Properly place
other electrical medical devices according
to their directions for use.
Shut down the System Workstation by
pressing and holding the Power Button.
Press the Power Button to restart the
System Workstation. If problem reoccurs,
contact Boston Scientific found in Section
8 "Service and Warranty".
Clean the distal tip by wiping it with
15 to 70 percent alcohol in purified water
solution using a cotton swab.
Check irrigation and increase the
irrigation flow rate or pressure. A pressure
controller such as the Boston Scientific
Single Action Pumping System can be
used to help regulate irrigation pressures.
Check all cabling to ensure connections
are secure.
Check compatibility requirements in
Section 3.4 "System Workstation
Device - Accessory Compatibility".
Check external monitor's user guide to
setup the monitor to the DVI video standard.
