WARNING - If used correctly, the power cutter is a powerful,
fast, high performance tool; if used improperly or without
the due precautions it could become a dangerous tool. For
pleasant and safe work,always strictly comply with the
safety rules that follow and throughout this manual.
WARNING: The ignition system of your machine produces
an electromagnetic field of very low intensity. This field
could interfere with certain pacemakers. To reduce the risk
of serious or fatal injury, persons with pacemakers should
consult their doctor or the manufacturer of the pacemaker
before using this machine.
WARNING: – National regulations could limit use of the
machine.
1. Do not operate the powercutter unless you have received
specific instruction on its use. First-time users must familiarise
themselves thoroughly with the operation of the machine
before working in the field.
2. The power cutter must only be used by adults in good physical
condition with knowledge of the operating instructions.
3. Do not use the powercutter when you are tired or under the
influence of drugs, alcohol or medication (fig.1).
4. Never wear scarves, bracelets or anything else which could be
taken up by the machine or disk. Wear close-fitting safety
clothing.
5. Wear protective non-slip safety shoes, gloves, glasses, ear
protection and safety helmet.
6. Wear a homologated respirator when cutting masonry,
concrete, asbestos and other materials that produce dust.
7. Do not allow other people to remain in the operating range of
the power cutter while starting, carburation and cutting
(Fig. 2).
8. Do not start cutting until you have a clear work area. Do not
cut near electric cables.
9. Before using the power cutter, make sure that the disk
mounting bolt is perfectly tightened.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
10. Never use the power cutter without the disk guard.
11. Before starting the engine, check that the throttle lever works
smoothly and that the disk is free to turn and not in contact
with any foreign object.
12. During operation, stop the engine and check the disk
frequently. Replace the disk immediately if any cracks or other
damage are present.
13. The disk must not turn when the engine is idling; if this
happens, adjust the idle screw.
14. Always maintain a firm foothold and a secure position (Fig. 3).
15. Only use the power cutter in well-ventilated places. Do not
operate the power cutter in explosive atmospheres, in closed
environments or near inflammable substances (Fig. 4).
16. Never carry out maintenance operations and never touch the
disk while the engine is running.
17. It is forbidden to hitch tools or applications to the P.T.O. that
are not specified by the manufacturer.
18. All labels with health hazards must be kept in good conditions.
In case of damage or deterioration, immediately substitute
them (see pag.4).
19. Do not utilize the machine for uses different from the ones
specified in the manual (see pag. 46).
20. Never leave the machine unattended with the engine running.
21. Never use a damaged, modified, or improperly repaired or
assembled power cutter. Do not remove, damage or disactivate
any of the safety devices. Only use disks with the diameter
indicated in the table.
22. Only cut the types of material indicated on the disk.
23. When the chain saw is running, grip the front handle firmly
with your left hand and the back handle with your right hand.
Check that all parts of the body are kept away from the disk
and muffler.
24. Always make sure the handles are clean and free of oil and fuel.
25. When using a power cutter, a fire extinguisher must be
available in the immediate vicinity.
26. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for the
maintenance operations.
27. Never carry out operations or repairs on your own that are
other than routine maintenance. Call specialised and
authorised workshops only.
28. Never use fuel for cleaning operations.
29. Do not test the spark plug near the cylinder hole.
30. When moving the power cutter, and before setting it down
after use, make sure that the engine is off.
31. Remove the cutting disk before moving or storing the power
cutter.
32. Check the power cutter each day to ensure that each device,
whether for safety or otherwise, is functional.
33. During the cutting operation, do not cock, bend, compress, or
force the disk. Avoid positions that do not permit the disk to be
guided correctly.
34. Store the power cutter and cutting disks off the grounf in a dry
place and away from heat sources.
35. Read the instructions given on the cutting disk carefully.
36. Do not secure the powercutter on supports other than those
indicated by the manufacturer.
37. If your power cutter is no longer usable, dispose of it properly
without damaging the environment by handing it in to your
local Dealer who will arrange for its correct disposal.
38. Only loan your power cutter to expert users who are
completely familiar with power cutter operation and correct
use. Give other users the manual with operating instructions,
which they should read before using the power cutter.
39. Keep this manual on hand and consult it before each use of the
tool.
40. All saw service, other than the operations shown in the present
manual, should be performed by competent personnel.
41. Please note that the owner or the user is responsible for any
accidents or damage to third parties or their property.
