CLEANING, DISINFECTING, AND
STERILIZING

Handpiece and eye protection screen

Clean the handpiece, the handpiece cable,
and the eye protection shield with an alcohol-
based, commercially available (ethanol, isopro-
panol), colorless disinfectant. The use of scouring
powder or an abrasive sponge will damage the
surface.
Do not immerse the Light Curing Unit into
disinfectant, as this would damage it.
The Light Curing Unit and the eye
protection screen cannot be sterilized.
