6.2

Periodic technical inspections

Maintenance work is not necessary. To ensure correct
function over the long term, regular checks are
necessary.
6.2.1

Daily test

Daily or before starting a shift, the operator must check
the IN4000 Direct safety switch for
• correct function and
• visible signs of tampering.
6.2.2

Inspections by qualified safety personnel

The inspection by qualified safety personnel must be
performed regularly as per the applicable national
regulations within the intervals defined. This procedure
ensures that any changes on the machine or manipula-
tions of the protective device after the initial commis-
sioning are detected.
