Commissioning and operation
If, nevertheless, the machine or system starts, again
check compliance with mounting conditions, the
correctness of all electrical connections and correct
the function of the safety system.
6.2

Periodic technical checks

Maintenance work is not necessary. To ensure correct
function over the long term, regular checks are
necessary.
6.2.1

Regular inspection

The operators must regularly, e.g. prior to the start of
each shift, check the IN3000 Direct safety switch for
 correct function,
 visible signs of tampering.
6.2.2

Inspections by qualified safety personnel

The check by qualified safety personnel must be
performed regularly as per the applicable national
regulations within the intervals defined. This
procedure ensures that any changes on the machine
or manipulations of the protective device after the
initial commissioning are detected.
