5.2
Nominal thermal capacity control
Thermal capacity can be checked by authori-
zed personnel or by the institute in charge of
it using the information you find in this user
manual.
This check can be done with new installations,
transformations or adaption to different gas
types, as well as after every maintenance
operation.
The nominal thermal capacity, as well as the
connection pressures, can be found on the
table "Technical data"
Sealed components (for example with paints)
must not be tampered.
VOLUMETRICAL METHOD
The nominal thermal power required can be
reached using the nozzles as described on
Table A "technical data" sheet and with the
connection pressure indicated for each type
of gas.
If a further check of the nominal thermal power
is desired, it can be done with the volumetrical
method.
The check of the nominal thermal power is
made with a counter and a chronometer
The exact volume of gas that must pass for
each time unit can be found on the chart A
"Technical data" sheet:
This value which is used during the connection
has to be maintained with a tolerance of ± 5.
If you find any deflection, you have to verify
that you used the nozzles with correct diame-
ter and at the right pressure.
5.3
Connection pressure control
You must measure the connection pressure
while the equipment is working using a pres-
sure meter for fluids (for example, a "U" mano-
meter with a minimum resolution of 0.1 mbar
or an electronic manometer). To make such a
control, reach the gas electovalve and connect
the manometer " E " to the inlet and outlet
pressure plugs " B " and " D " using flexible
pipes. You can complete this connection only
after you unscrewed the related seal screws
" A " and " C " (see Picture below).
Measure inlet pressure: if the reading is not
among the values you find on Chart A in the
"technical data" sheet, there is absolutely no
possibility to start up the equipment. The gas
company must be informed so that they can
remove the causes of an anomalous pressure
which interferes with the start-up of the oven.
If the inlet pressure is correct but the burner
doesn't work well, try to measure the pres-
sure coming out from the valve through the
outlet pressure plug "D", after unscrewing the
related seal screw "C". If the pressure drop,
in comparison with the inlet pressure value,
is higher than 2 mbar, this means that the
valve is defective or that its pressure regulator
wasn't excluded as it had to be. In this case
to solve the problem, you need to apply to the
constructor or to authorized service centres.
WARNING
The parts of the electrovalve which are set and
sealed by the producer must not be tampered
for any reason.
