SYMPTOM
Excessive breaking of
safety bolt of handwheel
Ridge is not completely
collected.
Production reducing
gradually.
CAUSE
1- Bolt inappropriate.
2- Safety bolt loose.
3- Baling with excessive
compaction.
4- Blades blunt or with
a gap.
5- Material very wet.
6- Strange objects -
stones, wood etc., - inside
the machine.
1- Springs lacking in the
collector.
2- Collector regulated
very high.
3- Tractor going very fast.
4- Ridge inappropriate.
1- Blades blunt.
2- Pressing channel
obstructed by excessive
material accumulated.
Instructions Manual
PROCEDURE
1- Use genuine bolt.
2- Tighten safety bolt
appropriately.
3- Adapt the compac-
tion.
4- Sharpen blades and
adjust gap.
5- Wait until the mate-
rial attains the recom-
mended humidity.
6- Clean the feeding
chamber of the ma-
chine.
1- Replace missing
springs.
2- Adjust height of the
collector.
3- Reduce speed at
which tractor goes.
4- Redo the ridge. Ball-
ing in the opposite di-
rection to that of the
ridges can
improve the perfor-
mance.
1- Sharpen the blades.
2- Clean pressing chan-
nel.
