REGULATING THE NEEDLES WITH THE KNOTTERS

In order to assure the efficiency in tying the bales and prevent that the needles and
the support get damaged, it is important to keep the needles adjusted, according to
instructions as follows:
1 – With the tractor engine off and the key removed from the ignition:
2 - Manually turn the star wheel F (as the arrow indicates below), until the arm G
moves forward, releasing the mechanism from the knotter.
the piston and the needles must work in perfect synchronism.
3 – Manually turn the handwheel, as
indicated in the arrow from the
picture to the side.
Turn the handwheel until the nee-
dles get to the knotters
The first adjustment to be perfor-
med is between the needle and the
retainer disk.
