REGULATING THE PRESSING PISTON
The compacting piston moves in the pressing chamber guided by side rules
and rollers. The adjustment is executed by means of these rules and rollers,
eliminating possible gaps.
These gaps impair the adjustment of the blades, making it difficult to cut the
bale and, as a result, making the work heavier.
Verify the piston periodically and, when necessary, eliminate the gaps following
the instructions below.
IN ORDER TO REGULATE THE VERTICAL GAP OF THE PISTON:
1- Disconnect the power socket and
the tractor engine.
2- Open the front cowling E.
3- Loosen the lock-nut F.
4- Turn the nut G, in a counterclo-
ckwise direction, so that the roller
goes up and eliminates the gaps.
5- Retighten the lock-nut F.
6- Close the front cowling E.
