Signal of the internal pick-up.
Now the sensor is mounted in the other position.
During the checking phase, verify that:
+
the value of rest is in the middle of the reading
scale;
+
if you push the shaft down, the value decreases to
zero;
+
if you lift the shaft up, the value increases up to the
end of the scale.
NOTES OR THE ASSISTANCE:
The sensors (code 654432) are identical and in order to
distinguish them during the production, they mount the
red pick-up outside and the black one inside.

Defect
One of the pick-ups reached
the saturation point: the ten-
sion is 0 or 1024.

Internal 510 (from 480 to 550

The machine often needs to
be set.
During the assistance, if you have the opportunity, we
suggest substituting the main board (chapter 9) of the
machine as it is a easier and quicker procedure than
the substitution of the pick-ups. If the problem persists,
even after the substitution of the board, mount again
the old board and substitute the sensor/s as explained
here. The only difference between the tension adjust-
ment and the substitution of the pick-up is that in the
second case you replace the sensor with a new one.

Correction
+ Substitute the board.
+ Substitute the pick-up.
+ Reposition the pick-ups.
+ Substitute the pick-up (in
our case the external one).
+ Reposition the pick-ups.
+ Substitute both the pick-ups.
Procedure of adjustment or substitution of the pick-up:
€
Remove the carter;
€
Extract the entire measure group from the machine:
« Loose the drive belt and remove it;
« Unscrew the 4 Allen screws that keep it in the cor-
rect position;
€
Loose the locking nut put under the pick-up;
€
Unscrew position nut;
€
If necessary, insert the new pick–up;
« To keep the spheres in position, use a little of oil
grease;
€
Screw the nut until you cannot turn it manually:
« Manually: lock the nut making a half turn with the
key;
« With a dynamometric key, apply a 4 n/m strength;
€
Keep the Allen key and fix the locking nut;
€
Mount again the shaft inside the machine;
€
Reconnect the engine.
In order to check that the reparation has been success-
ful, check the tensions again and go on making a new
calibration of the machine.

These values always refer to the tension detected by
the pick-ups, but in this case it is enlarged and filtered
by the board.
During the checking phase we don't care about these
electric signals because they are just necessary to cal-
culate the unbalance.
