Do not start Teflon band replacement with the sealing bars hot, as there is danger of burns.

7.3.6 CHaNgINg THE PuMP oIl

warNINg!
This operation must be carried out by qualified personnel.
• For correct oil change, disconnect the pump from the power supply. The pump must be at normal functioning
temperature with the vacuum chamber at normal atmospheric pressure (no vacuum).
• Run the pump for about 10 minutes so that the oil becomes fluid, by activating the PuMP function.
• Stop the pump by pressing SToP.
• Switch off the machine using the ON/OFF main switch and remove the plug from the power socket.
• Unscrew the oil filling screw
a hex wrench; the plug
• Use a container to hold the oil drained out and unscrew oil drain screw
Let the oil flow out into the container for about 10 minutes.
• Refit the oil drain screw
slightly above half-way on the level indicator on the pump
