7. Putting into operation

Always carry out a visual inspec-
tion before using your lawn-
mower to ensure that cutting
tool, retaining bolts and entire
cutting unit are not worn or dam-
aged. Always replace worn or
damaged cutting tools with new
parts to ensure the lawnmower is
properly balanced (see Mainte-
nance, Care and Storage).
Setting the Cutting Height

You can adjust the cutting height
using the central adjusting bolt.
The cutting height set can be
read off the display in 5 mm
graduations.
H05 RN-F symbol and a maxi-
mum cable length of 20 m and
a cross section of 3 x 1.5 mm
disposed of through your local
disposal sites.
Fitting the Guide Handle
Remove your lawnmower from
the box, unfold the z-shape fold-
ing guide handle and tighten the
clamping grip (fig. A, item 1).
Adjust the guide handle to the
desired height and tighten
securely in place on the left and
right using the joint clamping
handle (fig. A, item 2).
Warning! Ensure that the

cable is not squeezed.

turned off.
Only set the cutting height to
a depth where the blades of the
cutting mechanism do not touch
the ground if it is uneven.
Switching on the Aerator Roller

Only switch on the aerator roller
with the motor switched off.
Only switch the aerator roller on
within the cutting height range
from 30 – 55 mm. The working
height of the aerator roller is set
via the cutting height adjustment
or a cross section of 3 x 2.5 mm
when using a cable length of
between 20 m and 50 m.

1. Fold the collecting bag (3) out
and insert the bearing rod (5)
through the grass collecting
rod opening (3), so that the
plastic base is at the bottom.
2. Now bend the mounting
straps (6) up by hand as
shown in fig. J and use them
to mount the grass collecting
bag (3) on the bearing rod (5)
as shown in fig. K.
3. Brace the carrying handle (4)
by pressing the bearing rod (5)
together as shown in fig. L.
The assembled grass collect-
ing bag is shown in fig. M.
Note:
The bearing rod (5) is bent in
at the spot where the carrying
handle (4) is attached.

various lawn care options.
The aerator roller is switched on
with the motor stationary by
turning the rotary switch (fig. F)
to position 1.
Turn the rotary switch to position
0 to turn the aerator roller off.
The aerator roller must be
switched off when you have
finished work or when
transporting the Hattrick!
